Martial Arts After School
Tai Chi  Description
Deep BreathLegs crossed, hands up, back straight.  Breath in and out through nose.
Tai Kwon Doe 
Step and PunchFront Stance: front knee bent, back leg straight, punch with hand that leg steps.
Front Snap KickKnee comes up, thigh level with floor, kick straight out, pull back, then set leg down.
Jump Front Snap KickBring one knee up, jump and bring other knee up land, and then do a front snap kick.
Side KickKnee comes up, turn hips to the side, extend leg forward.  Toes will point to the side.
 Slide Side KickFrom  a horse position.  Slide feet together, lift front leg, side kick, drop back into horse.
Jump Side KickBring both knees up, turn to side in air, side kick forward.
Katas 
Kata 1Follow a capital "T" shape pattern on the floor.  4 down blocks forward, step back with right,  turn to left, as down block left hand, step in and punch, turn leaving feet on ground, down block, then step in and punch.
Punch Defenses 
Chop palm punchChop w/ right, palm to hold punch w/ left, fire fist punch with right,  in front stance.
Iron Arm, Shoot the ArrowOut block with right or left, and fire fist punch with non blocking arm, in front stance.
Kung Fu 
 Ready, fists pull back to sides, look left, step right, chop, palm, punch (fire fist) and left foot slides to right.  Iron arms, double In Block to front, left arm and leg come up, draw the bow, shoot the arrow, shift back into horse pos.,
Cannon Fist (1st Half)in block, down block, out block/ hammer fist, draw the bow, shoot the arrow.  Rolling back fist with right, Front Snap kick, punch with right,  cover with left, punch with right bringing up left knee long fist technique.
