Martial Arts Summer Camp

Below is SUMMER CAMP 2010 Information.

REGISTRATION STARTS IMMEDIATELY!

Martial Arts After School SUMMER CAMP is now accepting enrollments for this summer's program!
Space is limited so sign up now to save your spot.

Camp Dates:
This Year: 3 SESSIONS from which to choose!

Early Summer: June 28th to July 2ndfor Grade K through 6th
Late Summer 1st Week: August 9th to 13th for Grades K through 3rd
2nd Week: August 16th to 20th for Grades 2nd through 6th
Time:
Both weeks camps are held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

Cost: $99 if pre register before May 1st
$149 after May 1.
Last day to request a refund is May 1.
After this date, no refunds will be issued (unless class minimum attendance is not reached.)
Cost includes: T-shirt, Weapon (campers will make their own), Curriculum book, Group Picture.

What to Wear:
FREE Martial Arts Camp T-shirt provided/ Uniforms NOT required… PLEASE no uniform tops.
Please wear loose fitting pant/sweats/ shorts.
Martial arts pants available for purchase if so desired at $15 per pant. Please PRE ORDER if interested!
No other equipment/ gear needed or used.
Please wear your Martial Arts Camp T-shirt every day. On Thursday, we will be taking Group Photo!

What to Bring:
Please bring a HEALTHY snack each day (vegetables, fruit, etc). Water will be provided.
Parents, PLEASE make sure your child eats some lunch before coming to camp. Please eat healthy foods and if possible make sure they have a good hour of time before camp starts to digest.

Transportation:
Transportation is not provided. Parent please drop children off and pick up on time as the facility does not have baby sitting services and must be closed promptly at the end of camp.

Who Can Attend:
For children Grades K to 6
Classes for ALL LEVELS Beginners and Advanced

15 student minimum for program to be held!
(if 15 student minimum not reached your money will be refunded).

30 student maximum
enrollment allowed.
If the maximum number of students is reached, you may still register to be put on our waiting list should a last minute student drop out.

Release Forms/ Waivers:
In order to enroll in our Summer Camp you must completely fill out the full Waiver/ Release Form!
It covers: Release of Liability, Weapons Release and Purchase Form, Picture Waiver

Group Photo:
Group Photo of all our Martial Arts Summer Camp participants will be taken on the 2nd to last day (Thursday). This picture is included in the price of the camp and copy will be given out the last day of class to all students! If you do not want your child's picture to be taken, please indicate this on the "Picture Release Form" and they will not be included in the group photo.

Students will learn the following in a
Safe, Fun, and Disciplined environment:

  • Kung Fu Forms (emphasis on building strength, balance, and flexibility)
  • Weapons Forms (weapons are padded)/ Construction of their own padded Weapon (and keep after camp is over!)
  • Udo (tumbling/rolls/dive rolls/how to fall)
  • Practical Self Defense Techniques/ Safety Tips
  • Conflict Resolution Skills/ Communication Skills/ Character Building
  • Create their own Padded Chong Bong (long staff)
  • Do Crafts (design their curriculum book)
  • And most importantly, HAVING FUN!

Martial Arts After School Summer Camp provides a safe, positive, and comforting environment. Our Instructors and Assistant Instructors have between 3 to 16 years experience teaching children’s programs in a martial arts school in addition to teaching the after school program at over 25 local elementary schools.
