Our Overall Main Goal:
#1 Kids are to have fun.
#2 Learn the summer camp curriculum
MARTIAL items: Chong Bong Form, Kung Fu Set, 2 Powerful
Self Defense techniques, roll/tumble to prevent injury.
MENTAL items: Memorize Code of Ethic, ONE conflict
resolution technique, ONE Healthy eating habit
#3 Have MORE fun... kids want this MORE than anything else!
If they enjoy it, they will want to practice and implement
what they learn and GROW! We learn martial arts to develop
a strong mind and body, and like our motto says, "to
help others... not hurt them!"
Specific Curriculum to be covered during
the week of lessons:
Chong Bong (Padded Long Staff) Form
Chong Bong Sparring Form and Counter
Udo (Rolling/ Dive Rolls)
ONE Kung Fu Sets (Cannon Fist, Meteor Fist, Grabbing Fist,
or Sweeping Tripping Fist)
Self Defense (2 to 3 practical punch/grab defenses)
FIVE C's:
Character Education (Code of Ethics/ Moral Characteristics)
Conflict Resolution (How to deal with a bully/When and How
to use Self Defense)
Communication (School and Home respectful etiquette)
Crafts (Construct your own Chong Bong/ Design your own curriculum
book)
Consumption (Proper eating habits/ Nutrition)
Our Overall Curriculum will cover a lot of information and
may need to be adjusted given time constraints and students
ability to absorb information.
