Eric was born and raised in San Diego, CA. He attended San Diego State University
obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science. He
began his martial arts training in 1991 at the age of 18.
After approximately 2 years he tested for first degree black
belt, then tested again 2 years later for second degree black
belt at which time he was promoted to full a Instructor. In
1997 he decided to make teaching martial arts his career and
began teaching full time at the Allied
Gardens School of Martial Arts and teaching a martial
arts after school program at local elementary schools. Today,
Instructor Eric is the Head Instructor at the Allied Gardens
School of Martial Arts. He also is president of Martial Arts
After School, the nonprofit organization that has offered
its program to over 40 elementary schools, recreation centers,
churches and private schools throughout San Diego since 1997.
